INGREDIENTS:
24 Oreo cookies
3 tbsp sugar
1 and ½ cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 cup milk
2 tsp oil
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Another 2 tbsp milk
METHOD:
Step 1: Separate the Oreo cream from the cookies using a knife, and place the cream in a small bowl.
Step 2: Put the cookies into a mixer jar and grind them to form a powder.
Step 3: Transfer the powdered cookies to a large bowl, and to that, add sugar and baking powder. Give it a good mix.
Step 4: Next, add in milk and mix it well using a spatula. Transfer the cake batter to a tin lined with parchment paper. Give it a tap to flatten it out.
Step 5: Pop it in the pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
Step 6: While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting using the separated Oreo cream. In that bowl, add oil and whisk it well along with the cream.
Step 7: Add cocoa powder to it in two batches and whisk it well. Next add in milk and mix it well, first with a whisk and then a spatula.
Step 8: Take a toothpick test for the cake and let it cool completely before unmolding it.
Step 9: After unmolding it, let the cake cool in the fridge for a while. Once it’s ready, add a huge dollop of the frosting onto it. Spread it using a spatula into a swirl. Top it off with some choco-chips.
ENJOY!!!
